Visitors have enjoyed the therapeutic natural hot springs water of Broadwater Hot Springs for over 129 years.  Located in the mountains only 10 minutes from downtown Helena, Montana, our natural hot springs pools and spas are available to enjoy year round. Ideally located on the main road between Yellowstone National Park and Glacier National Park, Broadwater Hot Springs is located near where the world famous Broadwater Hotel and Natatorium once stood, which was home to the world's largest indoor pool. Built in 1889, this luxurious hotel was the popular stopping point for travelers going to and from Yellowstone Park and Glacier Park. Even though this grand hotel was closed in 1941, this tradition of travelers stopping and enjoying the same wonderful hot spring water continues on. There are five outdoor pools each with their own temperatures and sizes that are open year round. Our 75,000 Recreational Pool has a depth from 3 to 10 feet and is kept between 89 and 93 degrees and is perfect for splashing and playing. Our 42,000 gallon Soaking Pool is kept between 95 to 100 degrees and is lined with bench seating making it ideal for soaking. Our new Springs Pool is a 33,000 gallon free form saltwater pool and is kept between 97 and 102 degrees. This pool is also lined with bench seating around the perimeter and the island of the pool making it perfect for soaking and relaxation. There is also a Hot Tub Pool that is kept between 103 and 105 degrees with its companion Cold Plunge Pool that is 60 to 70 degrees. If you get hungry during your time with us, our poolside Taproom and Grill offers a delicious menu and great selection of beverages.
